12. How do the pigs control the animals? Give at least two specific examples.


The Pigs controlled the animals by changing the commandments and inventing stories to justify their acts. Every commandment was changed so Napoleon could do whatever he liked, and in the end left one commandment that all animals are equal but some are more equal than others. Squealer served as Napoleon's messenger and told the animals lies to control them.

11. How is Animal Farm an allegorical story? What is it really about? Explain



Animal Farm is considered an allegory, because of it representing the Soviet Union. Old Major represented Karl Marx, Napoleon Stalin, and Snowball represented Trotsky. The story tells how Napoleon kicked out Snowball and became the leader of the Animal farm.
